GW reated games?
I need help guys
I love Guild Wars, but my computer is horrible. And I can't just go out and buy a new one... I have a Wii system though and was wondering if there are any games like Guild Wars for Wii or coming out for Wii. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Really? Your computer can't handle GW? My 5 year old comp can handle it on max, and I built it back then for <$700. Must cost less then 400 by now.

The Wii does not have any good games IMO, much less a game like Guild Wars. If you had a PS3 or 360 you could play Fallout3 or Oblivion, they are pretty good role playing games from what I have heard. However since you have a Wii you are out of luck, unless you like playing Zelda. I would do whatever it took to either get a new computer or modify the one you have so that you could continue to play GW, because there is nothing else like it for any of the game consoles.

Get a second hand 360 with the 60 gig hard drive and a copy of the elder scrolls, oblivion.I played through it before i started guild wars and quite frankly , as a single player game it blows guild wars out of the water.

Your pc should be able to run Elder Scrolls: Morrowind.

Have you looked into what upgrades might be very affordable fot your pc?
GW doesn't need a fire breather to look really good. For more help try posting what you use There are lots of folks here that would be able and willing to help you out. The 'right' upgrade could cost less than some games if you get lucky. Ant |

Buy a Elder Scrolls Game for PC (Morrowind probably, since you said you can't even play GW). You can roleplay whatever you want, and even upgrade with mods, it's really fun.

well in my experience there really isn't anything quite like Guild Wars, but if you're looking for general fantasy rpg games there's a ton of em, Zelda is a good one for the Wii and Morrowind/Oblivion are amazing as well (but only available on PC/Xbox).
But you've played GW for a while now. Did your computer suddenly start having issues that made GW unplayable for you or did you have to go to a lower quality comp? In either case if it's a standard PC you've got you can probably upgrade/repair it to the level where it can play GW again fine for very little (if you only need to upgrade/replace one item it may actually be more affordable to do that instead of buying a new release game) |

There will never be anything like Guild Wars available on console. For the attractive factor and storyline factor you can always go Zelda, but that's about as similar as you'll get, and that's already very different.
I agree with the suggestions for older games for your PC. As well as Morrowind I'd get your hands on a copy of Diablo II. That's the game that got me into RPG's in the first place; that and fallout II. Sure the graphics are a little outdated, but the gameplay's good and it's similar game style to GW. |

Or use $100 to buy a rig that can handle GW. If it can't... well, sooner or later something WILL break down as it's probably god awful old.

Morrowind, what a game, I played that for countless hours but never even finished main quest, I just got to the top in all the different factions etc. I got about halfway to becoming the Nerraverine or whatever it is then built a new comp, my saved games are on my old one, then I started Oblivion and GW's on new comp

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World?
Hey guys, I found this game and was wondering what you thought
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_o..._the_New_World From videos and pictures I have seen of the gameplay, it looks a little similar to Guild Wars (other then it being offline, and on the Wii). Any opinions? |
